Hello and welcome. I am a registered Marriage Celebrant based on the Gold Coast and servicing the Gold Coast and hinterland and the Tweed Valley in northern NSW.
No greater honour can you receive than the love of another to build and travel a life journey together. And I am delighted now that Australia has opened its heart, both legally and compassionately to allow same sex couples to marry and be formally recognised of this journey.
Your marriage ceremony will be the most personal time of your wedding day; a small window when you both come together to pledge your love through the exchange of vows and to officially begin your journey as a couple. You will want to find a registered marriage celebrant who you connect with and trust to take you through this journey.
You may already have a clear vision of how you would like your wedding ceremony to unfold. Or perhaps your journey is about exploring ideas and concepts and letting the journey unfold as it is meant to. Whether it be the uniqueness of a bespoke ceremony or one filled with tradition, I will be there to guide and support you.
Whether your vision is classic sophistication or deep sincerity with a sprinkle of light hearted humour, or even a themed ceremony, I will assist you in crafting a ceremony that is as individual as you are; a ceremony that brings together all the cultural, personal and spiritual elements that are important to you both.
In the weeks leading up to your wedding, you can expect your journey with me to be relaxed but professional as I guide you through the legalities of your upcoming nuptials as well as the practicalities of what will happen on the day of your wedding.
You will receive a beautifully handcrafted ceremonial marriage certificate, created by a master calligrapher and presented immediately after your ceremony so your chosen photographer can include it in your photographic portfolio from the day. You will also receive a transcript of your ceremony to share together after the ceremony because we all know how the day flies past so quickly. It is also a nice memento to revisit on your first anniversary and beyond to renew your vows to each other. You will be free to relax and enjoy the celebrations knowing that all the legal paperwork has been taken care of and will be submitted to Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) in the state of your marriage within 14 days of your ceremony.
If your wish is to create a bespoke ceremony that signifies the love you have for each other, whether on a grand scale or an intimate gathering then please contact me to arrange our first meeting where I will explain everything you need to know about getting married in Australia. I also specialise in weekday and evening weddings and small intimate ceremonies. And for those wanting to escape the stresses of managing a large affair, please ask me about my elopement package.
Please note that all ceremonies must adhere to Government rules and regulations in the State where your wedding is held during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic as it relates to social distancing, sanitisation and number of guests in attendance.
